NEW TRAFFIC SIGNALS TO GO INTO OPERATION ON ROUTE 658 IN WARREN COUNTY
STAUNTON – The Virginia Department of Transportation will place new traffic signals into operation during the week of Jan. 9. The signals are located at the intersection of Route 658 (Rockland Road), Route 627 (Reliance Road) and Route 522/340 (Winchester Road) in Warren County. On Tuesday, Jan. 10, the signals will go into flash mode at 2 p.m. On Monday, Jan. 16, the signals will be placed into full operation at 9 a.m.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution in the area of the new signals as drivers become acquainted with its operation.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
