ROUTE 770 IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY TO CLOSE FOR CULVERT WORK
STAUNTON – A portion of Route 770 (Turnpike Road) will be closed on Sept. 5 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a culvert replacement project. The work zone is located 1.85 miles west of Route 646 (Big Hill Road). The alternate weather date is Sept. 6.
Motorists can use Route 654 (Hayslette Road) as a detour.
All work is weather permitting.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
