ALL LANES ARE OPEN AT SOUTHBOUND I-81 CRASH SITE IN SHENANDOAH COUNTY
STAUNTON – (1:50 p.m.) All lanes have re-opened southbound on Interstate 81 at exit 279 (Edinburg) in Shenandoah County. Earlier today both southbound lanes were blocked due to a tractor trailer accident.
There is currently a 10-mile backup. Motorists should anticipate delays in this area as traffic clears.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
