ALL LANES OPEN ON INTERSTATE 64 IN ALLEGHANY COUNTY
STAUNTON – (12:20 p.m.) All eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 64 are back open in Alleghany County. A tractor trailer accident overnight at eastbound mile marker 19 near Covington caused a cargo spill and damage to the cable barrier along the median.
The left lanes on both sides of the interstate were closed during cleanup and repair operations. All lanes were reopened shortly after noon today.
