ONE LANE OPEN ON WESTBOUND I-64 IN ALLEGHANY COUNTY
STAUNTON – (5:40 p.m.) The left lane of Interstate 64 westbound has been reopened at mile marker 19 in Alleghany County near Covington. Both lanes had been closed since 3:45 p.m. due to a tractor trailer accident. The right westbound lane of the interstate is expected to remain closed for several more hours as crews clean up the accident and repair damage to the cable guardrail.
