PORTION OF INTERSTATE 66 WESTBOUND CLOSED IN WARREN COUNTY
STAUNTON – A tractor trailer crash involving a gasoline tanker has closed all westbound lanes of Interstate 66 at mile marker 11 in Warren County. This is in the vicinity of the Linden exit at Route 79. A detour has not been established. Virginia Department of Transportation crews are assessing water covering a portion of Route 55, which is the detour route.
Interstate 66 is expected to reopen around 7:30 a.m.
