ROUTE 340 IN PAGE COUNTY CLOSED FOR ACCIDENT CLEANUP
STAUNTON – Part of Route 340 in Page County is closed because of a tractor trailer accident. The incident took place shortly after 3 a.m., but law enforcement officials advise that the northbound and southbound lanes may remain closed until roughly 10 a.m.
The location is near the intersection of Route 340 and Route 710 (McDaniel Lane) north of the town of Shenandoah. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
