ROUTE 717 IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY TO CLOSE AUGUST 27 FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

STAUNTON – The Virginia Department of Transportation will close Route 717 (Goose Creek Road) from 0.6 mile north of Route 719 (Davis Road) to 0.9 west of Route 721 (Finley Road) in Rockbridge County for a bridge replacement.  

The road is scheduled to be closed from August 27 to September 11, 2014, weather permitting.

 

Motorists may use Route 613 (Ridge Road) to Route 721 (Finley Road) to Route 606 (Raphine Road) as a detour. 

 

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.

For other assistance call the VDOT Customer Service Center, available 24 hours-a-day, seven days a week.
