SLOPE REPAIRS ON ROUTE 522 IN WARREN COUNTY
Single-lane traffic beginning June 23
STAUNTON – Traffic on part of Route 522 (Remount Road) in Warren County will be restricted to a single lane due to slope-repair work beginning Monday, June 23, 2014. The work zone is at the intersection of Route 604 (Harmony Hollow Road) just south of Front Royal.
A temporary signal will control traffic on both roads. Signs and variable message boards will alert motorists, and the speed limit on Route 522 will be 35 mph through the work zone. Drivers can expect potential delays during the repairs, which are expected to finish around July 2. All work is weather permitting.
