BOTH NORTHBOUND INTERSTATE 81 LANES CLOSED IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
STAUNTON – (8:25 a.m.) An overturned tractor trailer has blocked northbound Interstate 81 at mile marker 243 in Rockingham County. Both northbound lanes are expected to remain closed for at least an hour. Traffic is currently backed up about three miles.
Northbound I-81 traffic is being diverted off the interstate at exit 243 (Route 11 – Harrisonburg). Motorists can expect related congestion on Route 11 in Harrisonburg and southern Rockingham County.
