The Battle of North Valley's Hills

Location: Strasburg, VA

Description: September 18-22, 2008 Town Park Strasburg, VA The Battle of North Valley's Hills '08 Come join us as we traverse the foothills of the famous Shenandoah Valley that lies comfortably between the majestic Massanutten and Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Options for Family Rides, 30, 60, & 100 mile recreational road rides, hikes, guided walking tours, and optional MTB tours will carry you on a journey through history and focus on some of the Civil War's most famous battles... such as Fisher's Hill, Tom's Brook, New Market, Cedar Creek, and Hupp's Hill. Part of the ride will carry you across one of Virginia's most charming scenic byways as well as part of the Civil War Trail... the rest will keep you pumping and coasting, pumping and coasting, & pumping and coasting through the rolling hills of some of the most breathtaking, back-road scenery you've ever beheld. Ride in the Heartland

Location: Charlotte County

Date: Sept. 20, 2008

Description: Ride in the Heartland through the rolling countryside of Charlotte County. Cyclists choose from 101 miles, 67 miles ("century" and "metric century"), or shorter rides of 11 to 33 miles. Rides begin and end at the historic village of Charlotte Court House. Join us for meals and enjoy the beauty of the countryside and local historic sites.

Potomac Pedalers Touring Club Century

Location: Berryville, VA

Date: Sept. 21, 2008

Description: Location: Clarke County High School, Berryville, VA Sunday, September 21,  8:00 am - 6:00 pm  * Begin/end at Clarke County High School 240 Westwood Drive Berryville, VA 22611 * Quarter, half, metric, and full century routes [25, 50, 63, and 100 mile rides] Featuring: * Long sleeve T-shirts (for pre-registrants) * Four rest stops * Copious SAG support * Hot showers at the end of the ride * Finish-line food and music Event information 1. Pre-registered riders will receive an email receipt and confirmation email. 2. All riders are expected to check-in between 7 and 9am on Sept. 21st. 3. Between The Waters Bike Tour

Location:  Wachapreague, VA

Description:  16th Annual Between the Waters Bike Tour is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2008 in the scenic location of Wachapreague, VA on the Eastern Shore.
