What's Being Done

Work is underway to construct Phase II of Route 460 in Buchanan County, from the portion of Route 460 recently widened in downtown Grundy to Route 615.

Bizzack Construction, LLC, Lexington, Ky., was awarded a $36.2 million road widening contract in fall 2008 for Route 460 - Phase II.

Because the majority of construction is on a new location, delays in the area should be minimal.

An information meeting was held spring 2009 to give citizens information about the blasting schedules for this project.

Benefits

Widening of Route 460 in the Grundy area will complete the four-laning of Route 460 from Claypool Hill to Grundy.
