What's Being Done
Construction of Route 460 Grundy Phase II has been completed; however, there will be finishing work in spring 2013. The widening project began at the portion of Route 460 recently widened in downtown Grundy to Route 615.
Bizzack Construction, LLC, Lexington, Ky., was the contractor for the $45 million road widening contract, awarded in fall 2008.
Benefits
Completion of the Route 460 Grundy Phase III widening project that is currently underway will complete the four-laning of Route 460 from Claypool Hill to Grundy.
