The City of Charlottesville administered a multi-modal roadway project to replace the at-grade intersection of the Route 250 Bypass and McIntire Road. The diamond-shaped, grade-separated interchange also provides a connection to the southern leg of the new John W. Warner Parkway. The interchange was completed in early summer 2015 and includes shared-use paths, sidewalks and bike lanes.
