Safety Assessment and Supporting Documents
A safety assessment of the 4.6-mile, two-lane section of Route 3 was done by VDOT's traffic engineering group following a fatal vehicle crash in March.
The section studied runs roughly from Stevensburg to Lignum in eastern Culpeper County.
The study and its recommendations were presented during a community meeting on May 19.
