Attend A Public Hearing
VDOT invites residents and other interested parties to attend a design public hearing on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Fauquier County Library's John Barton Payne Community Room, 2 Courthouse Square, Warrenton, VA 20186.
The public hearing is an opportunity to give VDOT comments and/or suggestions regarding the proposed project. Representatives from VDOT will be available to answer questions and take public comments.

Project Overview Video
The project will increase the capacity of the existing park and ride lot from 212 parking spaces to about 360 parking spaces. Additionally, the project will improve lighting, provide 15 bike racks and add sidewalk along the edge of the parking lot near Route 605 (Colonial Road/Dumfries Road).
Construction is anticipated to begin in 2020 and take less than one year. The park and ride lot will remain open during construction but periodic parking disruptions are expected.
