Features
The project consists of replacing the existing approaches and bridge carrying Route 609 over Garden Creek Canal in eastern Mathews County, Virginia. Route 609 runs from Route 608 east of Port Haywood and ends at the Chesapeake Bay.The contract was awarded to McLean Contracting Company on September 21, 2006.
