About the Project
This project will build sidewalks, crosswalks, and pedestrian-activated signals along a segment of Route 200 in Irvington as a safety enhancement for pedestrians.
The project would install approximately 600 feet of concrete sidewalk on the east side of Route 200 (Irvington Road) beginning near the intersection of Route 634 (King Carter Drive). The sidewalk will be 5 feet wide.
The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing on this project from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Lancaster Community Library.
