Traffic Signal Activation

A new traffic signal will be activated the week of December 1, 2014 at the intersection of Route 205 (Ridge Road) and Route 218 (Tetotum Road) in King George County.

To help motorists adjust to the presence of a new signal, the signal’s lights will flash starting the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 2.

The signal will stay in flash mode until Thursday, Dec. 4, when it will go into full color operation between 9 a.m. and noon.

Message boards have been posted in the vicinity of the new traffic signal to alert motorists.


Project Overview

The Virginia Department of Transportation will install a traffic signal at the intersection of Route 205 and Route 218 in King George during fiscal year 2015.
