Under Construction: Route 608 (Brooke Road) Safety Improvement Project

Cost and schedule ►

Stafford County is locally administering a project to improve safety on Route 608 (Brooke Road).

Enhancements to Brooke Road include horizontal and vertical realignment, lane and shoulder widening and sight distance improvements.

Brooke Road is closed to through traffic between Deacon Road and Eskimo Hill Road. The road was anticipated to reopen to traffic in early 2019, but the road closure has been extended through July 2019.

The road closure is necessary to extend box culverts located beneath the road and install vinyl sheet piling between the culverts. All residents living within the construction area are able to reach their property.
