Project Details
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is planning to reconstruct a 1.5 mile section of Route 634 (Canterbury Road) to address flooding and drainage concerns in the area.
The project will also improve sight distance at the intersection of Route 636 (Minter Lane), and will mitigate the effects of a curve just beyond this intersection.
The project limits are 0.85 miles north of Route 629 (Walkerton Road) to 0.63 miles north of Route 636 (Minter Lane).
A citizen information meeting on the project has been scheduled:

5-7 p.m.

6089 Canterbury Road
Walkerton, VA 23177
VDOT officials will be available continuously from 5-7 p.m. to answer questions, and to share project information.
