About the Project
This project is designed to improve intersection safety by realigning the "jog" between Chicken City Road and Ridge Road at the Church Street intersection in the town of Chincoteague.
Due to the increased traffic volume during the tourist season (from Memorial Day to Labor Day), the town of Chincoteague has requested time of year restrictions limiting construction activities during this peak travel period.
