About the Project
The purpose of this project is to pave the existing shoulders to provide a four-foot bike lane on each side of the roadway. Route 615 within the project limits is designated as Ironbound Road and Sandy Bay Road. The proposed project begins at the intersection with Route 31, Jamestown Road, and ends at Route 613, News Road in James City County.
The intermittent bike lanes within the project area will remain in place.
Planning and engineering are currently underway. The estimated schedule for completion:
