Project Details
The Route 620 project is a Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) road widening project that extends from Route 681 to Route 637. The procedure consists of milling the existing asphalt road, blending the millet with a select material, then placing this blend back onto the road bed, all in one process.
This asphalt blend will provide a favorable base to place a new course of asphalt. The existing road alignment will also be realigned and widened throughout the limits of the project area.
Current Status
Update: Due to periods of inclement weather, the schedule for construction has been extended for at least two weeks. Pending further delays, schedule is expected to conclude October 15, 2012. Motorists should continue to use posted detours until further notice.
