Advisory Panel Meeting - Jan. 15, 2004

Minutes

I. The Chairman opened the meeting at 3:01 p.m. and welcomed panel members.

The following Panel members were present:
Homer, Gifford, Bowles, Dragas, Stone, Martin, Bowie, Reese, Altizer, and Conner.

The Chair also welcomed members of the General Assembly in attendance and invited each of the three District Administrators to introduce themselves over the videoconference from Bristol, Salem, and Staunton.

II. The Panel received testimony from six members of the General Assembly.

III. Approximately 250 citizens attended the public meetings at the four locations. The Panel heard from 74 citizens at the four locations. All citizens were able to hear what citizens in other parts of the state heard.

IV. The panel adjourned at 7:38 p.m.
