Project purpose
The primary purpose of this project is to improve the sight distance on Route 20 at the Route 631 intersection located at the crest of a substandard vertical curve in Buckingham County.
The existing intersection sight distance is limited for vehicles approaching the intersection from the east attempting to turn onto Route 20. The proposed project will lower the grade of the vertical curve on Route 20, optimize sight distance and improve the intersection alignment.
