The Chickahominy Riverfront phase being built near Route 5. 
 

The Chickahominy Riverfront phase follows Route 5 for 4.5 miles.It runs from the Greensprings phase at Route 614 to James City County's Chickahominy Riverfront Park.

The county and the Virginia Department of Transportation are working on a trailhead at the park, with the trail crossing the new Chickahominy Bridge.

Cost: $5 million  (Local funding for park acquisition and construction; 10 percent for the Trail.)

Status: Complete
