New Market Heights Phase

This 10.5-mile phase will span between Longbridge Road located just east of I-295 in Henrico County and Kimages Road (Route 658) near Virginia Commonwealth University's Rice Center for Environmental Life Sciences in Charles City County. 

Cost: The total cost for this phase of the Trail will be approximately $12 million 

Status: A public hearing was held on December 6, 2011 in Charles City County. Construction is expected to begin in late 2012/early 2013 with completion in spring 2014. public hearing brochure
