Virginia Capital Trail

New Market Heights Phase

This is a 12-mile phase that will link the Four Mile Creek Park located just east of I-295 in Henrico County to Virginia Commonwealth University's Rice Center for Environmental Life Sciences in Charles City County. New Market Heights is currently scheduled to be the last phase of the Capital Trail to be constructed.

Cost: The cost for this phase of the Trail will be estimated once environmental and right-of-way impacts have been evaluated. This will most likely not occur until late 2008 or early 2009.
