This project will upgrade the signalized intersection of Columbia Pike (Route 244) and John Marr Drive.
The improvements include:
- Traffic signal and curb ramp upgrades.
- A new crosswalk across Route 244.
- Accessible pedestrian signals.

Preliminary Engineering - $100,000
Right of Way Acquisition and Utility Relocation - $100,000
Construction - $725,000
Total - $925,000
This project is financed with federal and state Highway Safety Improvement Program funding.
At the intersection, Columbia Pike averages 27,000 vehicles a day and John Marr Drive averages 10,000.
