About the Project
This project includes safety improvements at the intersections of Dale Boulevard (Route 784) and Kaiser Court/Hillendale Drive (Route 1954) in Prince William County. Improvements include:
- Adding dual left turn lanes onto Hillendale Drive from Eastbound Dale Boulevard (Route 784), upgrading the Pedestrian/Traffic signals from span wire to a mast arm and improve sight distance.

Preliminary engineering: $582,000
Right of way: $539,000
Construction: $1.7 million
Total: $2.8 million
Begin construction: February 2016
Estimated completion: Summer 2016
June 2016: Curb, gutter, and sidewalk improvements are complete along with the median reconfiguration. Signal pole foundations are complete, pole installation is scheduled to begin June 27.
Paving and striping should occur after the July 4 holiday. Project completion is scheduled for later this summer.
