About the Project
This project proposes to modify the Route 28 intersection at Old Centreville Road/Blooms Quarry Lane by eliminating three of the four left-turn movements (maintaining Rt. 28 southbound left-turns to Blooms Quarry Lane). It would also lengthen the southbound Rt. 28 dual left-turn lanes to eastbound Manassas Drive (Route 1501) by modifying the existing raised concrete median. These improvements are proposed to eliminate conflicting traffic movements and improve safety.
