What's Being Done

This project involved widening Hull Street Road (Route 360) to three lanes in each direction between Winterpock Road and Spring Run Road and widening Hull Street Road to four lanes in each direction from Spring Run Road to Swift Creek. In addition to the new lanes, the project also included sidewalks, sewer line work and landscaping.

With the development along the corridor, this work provided four continuous east and west lanes between Route 288 to just west of Winterpock Road.

Project Updates

The soundwall located along Route 360 west between West Village Green Drive and Swift Creek is complete. Utility and developer work will continue in front of the soundwall.

Benefits

Nearly 70,000 vehicles use the stretch of western Hull Street Road every day and the number of motorists is expected to increase. Chesterfield County and the Virginia Department of Transportation added lanes in an effort to reduce congestion in this heavily traveled area.
