Intersection Improvements

This project involved modifying traffic signals and adding turn lanes at the intersection of Lee Davis Road (Route 643), Walnut Grove Road (Route 636) and Cold Harbor Road (Route 156) in Hanover County. Intersection improvements included the construction of left and right turn lanes. These improvements will increase the capacity of the intersection and increase driver safety by providing adequate turn and merge lanes. The number of rear-end collisions are expected to decrease as a result of these improvements.
