What's Being Done
The proposed projects include improvements along Route 360 between the I-295 interchange and Wynbrook Lane, including the relocation of Bell Creek Road.
- Relocation of Bell Creek Road - The current intersection with Route 360 will be moved 650 feet to the east aligning the road with the northern section of Bell Creek Road. The completed road will consist of four through lanes, a raised median, curb and gutter.
- Route 360 between I-295 and Wynbrook Lane - In order to address congestion, VDOT proposes to increase capacity from the current three lanes in each direction to four lanes between I-295 and the proposed Bell Creek Road intersection. Three lanes would remain in each direction between the proposed Bell Creek Road intersection and Wynbrook Lane. However, a continuous through/right turn lane would be added.
