Traffic Impacts

Beginning Tuesday, Dec. 16, drivers will see a new traffic pattern on Washington Highway over the CSX railroad near Ellets Crossing Road (Route 641) and Falling Creek while crews begin a project to rehabilitate the bridge. The first of three traffic patterns will shift all traffic in both directions to the northbound lanes (one lane in each direction) while crews complete repairs on the southbound side.

What's Being Done

The aging structure is located on Washington Highway (Route 1) near Ellets Crossing (Route 641) and Falling Creek. Crews will work to repair the bridge’s support structure and deck.
