Project Details

This project will realign Route 699 (Ridge Road) in Augusta County.  The project is located from 0.11-mile west of Route 646 east to Route 646.  The Route 646 intersection will be realigned, creating better driver visibility.  

The portion of Route 699 to be improved is currently 0.11-mile long with a 16-foot width.  The new road will be feature asphalt pavement 18-feet wide with four-foot wide shoulders.

The estimated cost for this project includes $69,000 for preliminary engineering and $48,000 for right of way.  Construction contract value is $153,126.50.

Benefits of Project

The project will improve driver visibility at the Route 699 and Route 646 intersection in Augusta County.

During Construction

Single lane traffic will be maintained during construction with flagger traffic control.  During non-work hours, two-way traffic will be maintained.
