Approved portion of CBA 1 begins at the Bridgewater Route 257/682 interchange with I-81 (Exit 240) and ends at Route 276. The length of this corridor is about 3.8 miles.

- Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) as signed by FHWA, Oct. 18, 2007.
- Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) resolution selecting CBA (CBA) 4 and portion of CBA 1, Nov. 16, 2006.
Preferred Alignment Selected
Findings from the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) and input from the public hearing, local government, as well as comments received on the DEIS were presented to the CTB for their consideration during their November 16, 2006 meeting. On this date the CTB approved CBA 4 and a portion of CBA 1 as the location of the Harrisonburg Southeast Connector.
