Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) ? Released April 1, 2005
In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) has been approved by the Federal Highway Administration for public availability. The DEIS is a detailed report that objectively identifies transportation problems, potential solutions to the problems, and the impacts associated with those solutions.

Public Review & Comment (completed May 21, 2005)
Copies of the DEIS are available online, at local libraries, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) offices and other government offices. Public hearings will be conducted to present the findings of the study and to obtain input from the community. The DEIS will remain available online and at local libraries. Comments should be sent to Earl T. Robb, VDOT, 1401 E. Broad St., Richmond, VA 23219 or submitted by e-mail to tricountyparkway@vdot.virginia.gov
