PAVING ON RT. 33 IN LOUISA BEGINS AUG. 21
Motorists should use caution through the work zone
CULPEPER — Beginning Sunday, a VDOT contractor will mill and repave a portion of Route 33 (Jefferson Highway) in Louisa County from just east of Route 1002 (South Street) to Route 22 (Louisa Road).
The work will occur overnight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and will reduce traffic to a single lane controlled by flagging. Motorists should obey all traffic controls, stay alert for workers and equipment near the travel lane, and expect minor delays. All work is weather permitting.
Roads scheduled for paving statewide can be viewed at www.virginiaroads.org. For more information about VDOT’s paving program or to ask questions about resurfacing in your neighborhood, call the VDOT Customer Service Center at 1-800-FOR-ROAD.
