Motorists should use caution through the work zone, expect delays
CULPEPER — Over the next several weeks, a contractor with the Virginia Department of Transportation will mill and repave Route 33 Business (Spotswood Trail) in Greene County.
Beginning Monday, the work will occur on weekdays between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will require traffic to be reduced to a single lane controlled by flagging. Motorists should obey all traffic controls, stay alert for workers and equipment near the travel lane and expect minor delays. All work is weather permitting.
Roads scheduled for paving statewide can be viewed at www.virginiaroads.org. For more information about VDOT’s paving program or to ask questions about resurfacing in your neighborhood, call the VDOT Customer Service Center at 1-800-FOR-ROAD.
