PAVING WORK ON RT. 15/29 IN CULPEPER TO BEGIN MONDAY
Motorists should use caution traveling through work zone, expect delays

CULPEPER — Beginning Aug. 1, a contractor with the Virginia Department of Transportation will begin milling and paving work along a section of Route 15/29 (James Madison Highway) northbound in Culpeper County.

For the next few weeks, northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from 2.6 miles south of Route 663 (Alanthus Road) to just north of the intersection on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Motorists should stay alert for workers and equipment near the travel lanes and expect brief delays during the work.

Roads scheduled for paving statewide can be viewed at www.virginiaroads.org. For more information about VDOT’s paving program or to ask questions about resurfacing in your neighborhood, call the VDOT Customer Service Center at 1-800-FOR-ROAD.
