UNDERGROUND CABLE CUT AT RIO INTERSECTION PROJECT
CenturyLink customers north of Charlottesville affected; technicians work to restore service
CHARLOTTESVILLE — Early this morning a construction crew working on the Route 29-Rio Road grade-separated intersection project cut an underground cable that carries CenturyLink data and phone service. Customers north of Charlottesville are affected by the outage.
CenturyLink has technicians at the site to make repairs; at this time there is no estimate when service will be restored.
