Daytime Lane Closures on I-66 East and West Between Gainesville and Centreville Friday, Nov. 16, Through Tuesday, Nov. 20
Closures Needed for Pothole Repair Operations
FAIRFAX, Va. - Multi-lane closures are planned on I-66 East and West between Route 29 in Gainesville and Route 28 in Centreville during daytime hours on Friday, Nov. 16, Saturday, Nov. 17, Monday, Nov. 19, and Tuesday, Nov. 20. Crews will be performing pothole repairs for the I-66 Outside the Beltway Project.
On Friday, Nov. 16, lane closures will take place between 8 a.m. and noon on westbound I-66 and between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on eastbound I-66. On Saturday, Nov. 17, lane closures will take place between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. in both directions. On Monday, Nov. 19, and Tuesday, Nov. 20, lane closures will take place between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on westbound I-66 and between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on eastbound I-66.
Drivers are advised to use caution and expect potential travel delays. VDOT will monitor traffic conditions throughout this work.
