Flaggers will direct single-lane traffic during overnight hours

FAIRFAX – Installation of bridge beams for the new I-66 bridges over Route 29 (Lee Highway) in Centreville continues this weekend and will require reducing Route 29 under I-66 to a single travel lane in each direction starting at 9 p.m. Friday, August 28, continuing through 5 a.m. Monday, August 31. Two-way traffic will run in the northbound lanes of Route 29 during this period. This work is part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.
