Braddock Road Closures Next Week
Detour in place during pipe work

CENTREVILLE – Braddock Road (Route 620) between Pickwick Road and Mount Gilead Road will be closed to through traffic Tuesday, October 11 and Wednesday, October 12 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Motorists will be detoured via Pickwick Road, Wharton Lane, and Mount Gilead Road back to Braddock Road.

Businesses and places of worship within the closure area, as well as emergency vehicles will continue to have access to the closed portion of Braddock Road; however, they will not be allowed to pass through the work site.

Message boards to alert motorists are in place and detour signs will be in place.
