Flagging on Route 50 in Upperville Starts Tomorrow
Crosswalk and warning strip repairs
UPPERVILLE – Flaggers will control traffic on Route 50 in the village of Upperville Thursday, October 20 through Wednesday, October 26 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day as crews repair crosswalks and warning strips, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The work requires slightly extended work hours due to the curing time required for the crosswalk texture. Crews will direct alternating two-way traffic through the work zone while crews work in the opposite lane.
Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use alternate routes.
All work is weather permitting.
