ROLLING RD LANE CLOSURES AT FAIRFAX CO. PKWY
WEST SPRINGFIELD – The Virginia Department of Transportation will close both southbound turn lanes, one southbound through lane and two northbound lanes of Rolling Road at the Fairfax County Parkway interchange this weekend and next week in order to repair the bridge, weather permitting.
The closures will occur from 9 p.m. Friday, April 1 to 9 a.m. Saturday, April 2 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 4 through Friday, April 8. One lane in each direction will be open at all times.
There will be similar closures in the coming weeks.
The work is part of the $14 million Fairfax County Parkway/Rolling Road interchange project, which is scheduled for completion in May 2016.
