ROUTE 7 CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS MEETING JUNE 16
Join VDOT for the latest on project design with a focus on stormwater and noise wall information
VIENNA – The Virginia Department of Transportation is holding a public information meeting Thursday, June 16 on plans to widen Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) from four to six lanes between Reston Avenue and Jarrett Valley Drive to increase capacity, decrease congestion, and improve safety.
The project includes intersection improvements, as well as a 10-foot shared-use path on both sides of the road to enhance mobility for cyclists and pedestrians.
The public is invited to stop by between 6 and 8:30 p.m. at Colvin Run Elementary School, 1400 Trap Road, Vienna, VA 22182 to view displays and learn more about project design, status of the preliminary noise analysis, and stormwater management. VDOT staff will be available to answer questions.
A presentation on noise analysis and stormwater management will begin at 7 p.m.
