Glenbrook Road Closure October 29 - November 1
Detour in place during pipe replacement and storm drain work

MANTUA – Glenbrook Road between Little River Turnpike (Route 236) and Denise Lane will be closed to through traffic from 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 for stormwater pipe replacement and storm drain repairs, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Residents within the closure area, emergency vehicles and school buses will have access to the closed portion of Glenbrook Road; however, they will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement and storm drain work in either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via the following routes:

  • South end of Glenbrook Road: Westbound Little River Turnpike, Skyview Lane, Pixie Court, Chantal Lane and Denise Lane back to Glenbrook Road
  • North end of Glenbrook Road: Denise Lane, Chantal Lane, Pixie Court, Skyview Lane, westbound Little River Turnpike, u-turn at Olley Lane (Route 787) to eastbound Little River Turnpike back to Glenbrook Road
