The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) welcomes you to the virtual public comment area related to the intersection improvements project on Route 10 and Route 617 in Surry County.
This virtual comment period is being held to provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the project’s design in a safe manner during Virginia’s State of Emergency for the COVID-19 pandemic. Project documents and an online comment form are available on this page.
For those that cannot access the materials virtually, or who need special assistance for persons with disabilities or limited English proficiency, contact Mr. Kenneth McKinna, Project Manager at 757-956-3271, TTY/TDD 711 who will connect you to the appropriate Civil Rights staff.

If there are concerns that cannot be satisfied through this on-line process, VDOT is willing to hold a public hearing. You may request a public hearing be held by sending a written request to Mr. Kenneth McKinna, Virginia Department of Transportation, 7511 Burbage Drive, Suffolk, VA 23435 on or prior to November 11, 2020. If a request for public hearing is received, notice of date, time and place of hearing or virtual opportunity will be posted.
