Under Construction: Williamson Boulevard and Stonehouse Drive Traffic Signal in Prince William County

This project is installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Williamson Boulevard and Stonehouse Drive. The signal includes a flashing yellow arrow for drivers turning left from Williamson Boulevard to Stonehouse Drive. 

The project is also adding Accesible Pedestrian Signals.

At the intersection, Williamson Boulevard averages up to 15,000 vehicles a day and Stonehouse Drive averages 3,400.

Preliminary Engineering - $299,000
Right of Way Acquisition and Utility Relocation - $110,000
Construction - $500,000
Total - $909,000

This project is financed with federal and state Highway Safety Improvement Program funding.

This project aims to improve driver and pedestrian safety as well as operations at the intersection.
